Vivienne Star Maxi Skirt grey black cream

Vivienne skirt is a homage to Rita Hayworth dancing in the film Gilda. I was inspired to make a skirt that swirled in the same way. Why is it called Vivienne? I had a market stall in Clapham and Vivienne Westwood whilst browsing my stall said "If I were to wear any of your designs I would wear this skirt, I absolutely love it. But I have too many clothes so I mustn't!" The Rita was then renamed the Vivienne.

Vivienne Skirt has an elasticated waist and is fully lined. It's a complicated piece to make as it has four tiers and has the right sizing of each tier to be able to have the perfect swing. The skirt comes in the following colours:- Black, Grey, Baby Pink and Peach 

We are able to make this bespoke, to your exact measurements. For custom made items there will be an additional cost of £30. When ordering please select the "custom" option.

All our garments are made with love by couture-standard seamstresses here in London, so you are getting a truly unique and high quality product. We make our garments with sustainability in mind using vintage fabric or end of line fabrics that would usually end up in a landfill.

How to take your measurements:-

Waist - measure around natural waistline ~ Hips - measure at the widest part ~ Inside leg - measure from the top of the inside leg at the crotch to the ankle bone ~ Bust ~ Height.

As far as possible we try to make our garments with sustainability in mind. Most of my garments are made from a vintage roll of fabric I find on my searches. So once it’s gone it’s gone! I am always sourcing wonderful sustainable fabrics and creating new pieces.
